That's okay. I know the feeling you talk about, though, when nothing sticks, when you are reading words and longing to set the book down. I hate that. Sad to see that you felt that way about Wilder Life. I'm very hopeful for that one, but perhaps I should not be.

I'm not doing much today. Sitting on my front porch, enjoying this glorious day. I spent more than three decades working in social work, in the child welfare system. In the last three years of it, I specifically worked with foster parents and training, as well as behavioral management (for the kids).

Interesting experiences. I wish you well in your adoptive journey.

Working in the educational field is one I thought of pursuing, and had almost completed my credentialing when I realized that I do better in one-to-one relationships with kids; hence, the swerve over to a master's degree program and social work.

I'm glad I made the switch, even though social work was a very stressful life choice.

Now I'm writing about it...have five books that delve into these issues.

Sorry about rambling on...your post triggered some thoughts...LOL

Here's MY SUNDAY SALON POSTLaurel-Rain Snowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00101090217639410913noreply@blogger.com
