Snapshot Saturday #11

This week's picture is a rodeo memory.  We had the opportunity to help out our vet and his wife as they and their 2 grandchildren showed during the Donkey & Mule Show in Houston.  It was a very rewarding, but tiring experience.

 

The little boy on the mule is our vet's grandson.  Next to the mule, from left to right are, his mom, my husband, and me.  He won Hi-Point with this mule, two1st place ribbons and one 2nd place, and 2 belt buckles to go with his first place ribbons.  He was a proud little boy!  Hard to believe we took this picture at 2 AM.  Yes, we had been showing since 8 AM the morning before!  This was only his second show.  For being the Hi-Point winner, he won a Wii.  Talk about being happy!  We are all very proud of him!
