Just a Post + a winner

Many of you know that today, at 4:30, I go for my second interview for an assistant principal position. To say I'm nervous is an understatement.  I left school early, to be able to relax, get ready, and get my head straight.  I had plans to post my review of Strange Angels, but I just can't think straight enough to write a review right now.  I have managed to clean out Google Reader, but 13 new posts just "popped" up, oh well.  I've commented on some blogs, which I miss doing, and I've tweeted with some friends.

I've waited for this day for 2 years, and even though I may not get the job, it is a great experience.  Did I say I was one of the final 2 interviewees? Scary, huh?  All my teacher friends at school believe I'll get it, and I have high hopes, but there is still that little bit of doubt.  Everybody has that, right?  I know I'm ready, but are they ready for me?

I try to give you a blog post everyday, and I didn't want to let you down b/c I was in a non-blogging mood right now.  I hope you don't mind this real personal, semi-talking to myself post.  I just had to get some things off my chest.   I do have the winner of The Brilliant Fall of Gianna Z for you.  It's exciting to be announcing winners.  So, without further ado, the winner is:

rhapsodyinbooks

Something else I learned today - Wings, by Aprilynne Pike is #1 on the New York Times Bestseller List.  Congratulations to Aprilynne.  Wings is her debut YA novel, can you believe it?

I am currently reading 20 Boy Summer.  When I get it finished, I will be posting a review with a surprise.  Just start thinking: "If I could ask Sarah Ockler anything, what would it be?"  That's all I'm going to say for now, but I promise, you'll LOVE it!!

Thanks for letting me just "share" today.
