Virtual Cookie Swap - Snickerdoodles

On Sunday I posted a recipe for No Bake Cookies for participation in Bermudaonion's and Booking Mama's Virtual Cookie Swap! Since those cookies were chocolate, I thought I would submit a more traditional cookie recipe.  This is another one that I love to make and share with friends, especailly during the holidays.

Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

2 pouches (1 pound 1.5 ounces each) Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix

2/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Preparation

Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, flour and eggs until soft dough forms.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll balls in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheets. If desired, roll warm cookies in additional sugar-cinnamon mixture.

You know, I don't think I've ever had a snickerdoodle, but I know lots of people who love them. Your recipe looks great and easy! Thanks so much for sharing.

Oh, we love snickerdoodles here, too. And they are so fun to coat with sugar/cinnamon.
