"Waiting On" Wednesday - Entwined

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

Azalea is trapped. Just when she should feel that everything is before her . . . beautiful gowns, dashing suitors, balls filled with dancing . . . it's taken away. All of it.

The Keeper understands. He's trapped, too, held for centuries within the walls of the palace. And so he extends an invitation.

Every night, Azalea and her eleven sisters may step through the enchanted passage in their room to dance in his silver forest.

But there is a cost.

The Keeper likes to keep things.

Azalea may not realize how tangled she is in his web until it is too late.

So, when I read this synopsis it immediately reminded me of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, which I read as a child.  I was fascinated by the "other world" that was beyond the wardrobe.  I am anxious to see what kind of "world" the Keeper lives in!

I loved reading the CS Lewis books with my daughter...hope this one has a world that is just as fascinating as the one behind the wardrobe :)

Doesn't this book look awesome?! I'm waiting on it today as well. I think it sounds like the Twelve Dancing Princesses fairy tale. But I could be wrong. So fun!
