Teaser Tuesdays - Galway Bay

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Please avoid spoilers!

Here is my teaser for today, from Galway Bay by Mary Pat Kelly.  I will be reviewing this book on the 17th, so come back to see my thoughts.

"I prayed for Maire as we climbed up to the ancient chapel on the island-only small, but lovely-built of gold-colored rocks and set between the sea and sky.  Michael had recovered himself after the boat trip, breathing in the sweet, fresh air, carrying Bridget as we followed our boys, who ran ahead, delighted with all these new cousins." (p. 168)
