Teaser Tuesdays - Return to Sender

Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading.

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Please avoid spoilers!

Yes, I'm still in the same book as last week.  I wish I could read faster, but I read children's books in between, so I guess it's okay.  Here is my teaser:

"Well, dear, that's not something you normally ask ladies to disclose.  But I'm your grandma so you can ask me." - Return to Sender by Julia Alvarez, p. 208

Shelly - that is a fun teaser - really makes you think about what ladies shouldn't normally ask (assuming this is a historical book of some type, so not set in current time).

Here's my Teaser! ~ Wendi

So sweet. And isn't that just the way grandma's are? Give you a little lesson in etiquette and then share secrets anyway.
